Loads of Love

This is a card I don't overly like but I am putting it up and will be puting an improved version

when I do it. This was the first attempt at this stamp set and I really like how I have compleated the stamp, what I dislike is the way I did the ribbon and the really dark background. To colour in the car I used a blender pen and write and stamp pens. The trafic lights are simply the small circle punch in three colours.

Recipe

Stamp Sets: Loads of Love

Inks:Real Red, Going Grey, Brilliant Blue, Basic Black

Card Stock: Real Red, Gable Green, Only Orange, Basic Black, Whisper White

Accessories: Real Red Gross Grain Ribbon

, 1/2 inch Circle Punch.

Enjoy

The Below card is a revise of what I did above in a chicky colouring. I prefer this one!!

Eastern Blooms Birthday Card

My brothers lass who is really nice had a birthday and I made her a card but have forgotten to give it to her so here it is Georgie enjoy!

I used eastern blooms for this card the stamp set is really versatile and I have used it ALLOT.

the border around the edge I did by hand and a ruler I used the write pens to ink the background flower stem.

I really like this card and will be selling it at my next market stall.

Flying the Country

Back from Sunny Melbourne and back to my old life rather missing the shopping and coffee but I guess you can't have it all. The Summer mini is on its last legs before it is superseded by the Autumn-Winter mini and I have a small preview for you all. I have used the new Two Step Bird punch and have tried a few different ideas some did not work and others I loved and have turned them into swaps and will be demoing them in my next classes at Posh Box where we will be doing a card stack three cards twice over in all six cards. Over all I was happy with the results.

Recipe
Stamp sets: Priceless
Card Stock Mellow Moss, Rose Red, Very Vanilla, Chocolate chip
Inks Mellow Moss, Rose Red, Chocolate chip
Accessories Rose Red Gross Grain Ribbon, Two Step Bird Punch.

In this card I have distressed the bottom edge of the Very Vanilla and inked it in Mellow moss as well as stamping the big swirl on the chocolate chip and Vanilla card stock. The Rose Red ribbon was simply knotted but you could also swallow tail the ends.

Chips of the Couch yum

trying out the concept of the birthday card. I'm not a birthday card person I spend alot of time and thought process on the present and forget the bloody card. I wont be doing a Recipie for it as I am really really time poor at the moment and want to eat Potato Chips with my hubby on the Couch. Enjoy the pics :-)
ps this will be in the stamp stack

Eating the Rooster

This is my all time favorite stamp set and yesterday my son went to it with his teeth and allot of determination. He ripped the whole set apart rubber, foam pads and the wood blocks have teeth marks. Overall the result was an unimpressed mum and a smiling baby boy. I stuck it all back together and this is what I produced

Bad week so lets make cards

I had a bad week there are lots of reasons why but basically it comes down to my darling husband being out of town. So to remedy all the crap I decided to make cards. Worked a treat!!

First Cards I made I was trying out the ripped flower technique. I'm not sure if this is how you do it but I had a shot and liked what I did. I have read that the basics are that you rip then wet then shape I forgot to wet! I think that brown card needs more mainly it needs a background stamp on the blue and brown maybe baroque mofits stamp would look nice?

The second Card is again trying the flower but with different colours and using ribbon I think I like the brown flower more but the design of the second I will have to try it. the pink card is sideways and every time I have tried to upload it the right way it ends up like this.
