Merry Christmas Ruth
Merry Christmas Ruth!
This card is for you and you will be getting it in the future when I get Drew to write in it. It is made with love and me trying out a new technique ripping paper (which is completely against my nature 'Ripping paper' baarrr). I really struggled with how to make it up without the ripped paper looking plain so I opted with the pattern on the green paper and the Holiday greeting.
Ripping paper seems to have a bit of a technique to it. I found if you use too much of an angle you get too much of a ripped area (hmm does that make sense). I have included a Recipe for this card.
PROJECT , RECIPE- Merry Christmas Ruth
Ink- Black , Real Red, Glorious Green, Sage shadow
Ink- Black , Real Red, Glorious Green, Sage shadow
Stamp Set(s)- Tree Trimmings, Sincere Salutations, Lovely As A Tree, Priceless
Card stock- Whisper White, Glorious Green, Real Red
Accessories- snail, Bone Scorer,
and when I figure how to turn photos then they will be up the right way.
PS thanks Kylie for the idea I got it from your fabulous card you made me for my Birthday. And Ruth Thank you for your great Card as well I love it but will it be OK if I take the front bit off and put it in a frame for every one to see.

How much do you love me??
This is from the summer Minni catty, I love it personally but I get the feeling not every one gets it. Its the like-o-meter and your able to indicate to the recipient how much you like them with a range of witty frases such as 'like like you', like a stalker', 'I'd marry you again' to my personal favourite and one I dont think I would ever use 'i'm over you'.
these cards like all of mine are simple as shown by the Recipe
PROJECT , RECIPE- How much do you love me?
I used the stampin' Writes to fill in the meter then put 2 way glue over the red and added fine glitter. :-) there is still glitter in my babies hair from when I made the card and had to attend her after.

Tailgating a Cyclone
Port Headland rocked ( I never thought I would say that), I did a massive power shop spent lots of money and got most of the Christmas Presents I needed to0. my kids will do well this year off of Santa! And I even missed the rain from the Cyclone.
I Just got the Tailgating stampin' around wheel and these are the mini cards I produced I really like the whole set of these stamps but have yet to get the other two that go with the wheel. They are Loads of Love, Loads of love Accessories, and Time for a Tree stampin around wheel.
PROJECT , RECIPE- Tailgating Notelet set
Ink- Black , Real red, Glorious Green, Green Galore, Pixi Pink
Stamp set- Tailgaiting stamp around, Sincere Salutations
Card stock- Whisper White
Accessories- snail, Bone Scorer, slit punch, blender pens, eyelet border punch.
Stampin' writes: Real Red.
to make the latch on the box I used the slit punch in opposite directions. It is very effective but fiddly to get the right distance between the two. Too little and they dont meet too far and they don't stay together and the lid comes off.
I like the beat up look of the car, it reminds me of my Ute back home in Melboure.

So I just got Rustic Rooster stamp set and I love it for two reasons, One it has the best rooster and I have had chickens for years and it looks just like kevin the rooster and Two I love the written scrall that comes with it. I made up two cards last night and they both look great I gave one to my brother for christmas and the other I am keeping and have got a pic of. I lifted the rooster by using crystal effects, the blue sky I used pastels the green was water colour yay!!

OK so not many people turned up to my very first Stampin' up! event of the 20 or so people I invited two made might have had something to do with people not living in the town. On the plus side (I always look on the plus side) the quilters group was at the same venue so I had a few drop on in and put orders in as well. In all I had allot of fun above is the pic of one of the items I made.
Materials (All Stampin up)
Whisper White, and Real Red card stock
Real Red grosgrain ribbon,
The stamp set came from the spring mini 09
Ink pad Real Red
Stampin' write Glorious Green
2 way glue
Glitter
the trick with this card is to do the red Baubles first and the green string last otherwise the baubles may not fit on the card. A stamp-a-majig would also have come in handy to get the string and baubles to line up.
Want to re-make this card contact me and I will send you a how too :-)
